Sting's Plane Skids off Florence Runway at Landing

Sting had a lucky escape when his plane skidded off the runway at Florence airport. The plane went through some safety netting and came to rest on a grassy bank. It is believed that the brakes may have malfunctioned.

The plane had three passengers on board, Sting himself, his manager and the pilot. Sting reportedly walked off the plane unhurt and feeling fine, and was driven to his Tuscan home.
