Sting Now Owns a Star

Sting’s name has been immortalized by the golden star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame. The event coincided with the animated movie The Emperor’s New Groove’s premiere, for which the singer had scored the soundtrack. Sting’s wife and various Hollywood celebrities took part in the ceremony. Recalling his first trip to Hollywood, Sting said in his speech that it was the place where he first saw and touched a palm tree in his life: “I never imagined I’d be standing here with a star on Hollywood Boulevard,” he said.
