Все новости Sting's Egyptian Show Threatened

Reuters have reported that Sting had a little trouble in Egypt at his recent show at the Pyramids. The promoters had already introduced him after a 90 minute break in the program, when one of the support acts, Hakim, broke into an anti-western rant. "Whoever is willing to accept the insult of an Egyptian in Egypt can stay. Goodbye!’’ he snapped as he stormed off. As parts of the audience responded to his suggestion that local talent was being scorned in favor of big foreign names, chanting “Hakim! Hakim!,” the concert ground to a halt once more. Only when the organizers finally explained that Hakim had failed to turn up on time for his allotted slot, and Sting did get an enthusiastic reception for a set that consisted of the Brand New Day material.
