One can only marvel at Sting’s ability to find time for social activities with his busy touring schedule. This time, he had to go some way straying from his World Tour route to jet back to London where his shows are scheduled for late July. On June 10 he played in Oslo, and on the 12th he was expected in the neighboring Helsinki. But instead of relaxing quietly on his own in the austerely beautiful Scandinavia, he and his wife Trudie joined the Prince of Wales, Camilla Parker Bowles and a host of celebrities for a charity event in aid of the Macmillan Cancer Relief. Sting went back to resume his tour the next morning. 12.06.2001
