On June 4, Sting took a short trip from St. Petersburg to Moscow to perform the same night at his only concert as the part of his World Tour 2001. At about 1pm local time Sting’s private jet landed in the Vnukovo airport. His band members, his wife, and several friends accompanied the musician. From the airport Sting immediately proceeded to the Baltschug Kempinski hotel to relax before the show. Unfortunately, this tight schedule did not allow him to see the press. Yet on his way to the concert venue for the sound check Sting willingly distributed his autographs to the fans who had been waiting for their idol at the hotel entrance. 01.06.2001
