Sting Plans a New Album

And here’s some great news for all Sting fans. Just the other day the musician announced his plans for a new live album, to be recorded this fall in Europe, backed by Sting’s touring band and “some old friends”, including the saxophone player Branford Marsalis.

“This will be a some sort of a closed party for old friends,” Sting said in his interview. He also mentioned a recording project involving re-recording of several old numbers he had been performing on the road for the last 18 months. Sting said that he plans to release the album before the year is over.
